Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz 450g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup melted butter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Mix cinnamon and sugar together.
  4. Press one layer of dough into the pan.
  5. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Spread filling evenly over the dough.
  7. Cover with the second layer of dough.
  8. Brush with melted butter.
  9. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar.
  10. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool completely, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
  12. Slice into bars and serve.

Notes

  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.
