- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until every piece is evenly coated.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
Do not overcook the garlic, as it can become bitter.
Freshly grated Parmesan melts better than pre-shredded cheese.
